I have the opportunity to train and got some very valuable experience at the Vein Academy earlier this year. The staff is very experienced and do a very good job at helping train you from a technical experience as well as giving you pointers on how to set up an office, order equipment and set up protocols. They provided me templates for ordering items, consents and operative reports. They can also provide you help when it comes to billing. As you can imagine this will save you a great deal of time going forward. I was given ample opportunity to actually participate in the procedure under their guidance. So the hands-on experience was very good. I learned how to do endovenous ablation from them using both laser and RF techniques. They taught me how to deal with perforators. I was also taught how to do microphlebectomy for treatment of varicose veins and reticular veins. They also showed me how to treat spider veins using sclerotherapy and techniques of sclerotherapy as well as getting a chance to use ohmic ablation. After the training, I was ready to go and my new practice is thriving.
